RoburLog ("we", "our", "the app") is a fitness tracking application. This privacy policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it.
1. Data we collect
When you use RoburLog, we collect the following information:
- Account information: Your name, email address, and profile picture, provided by Google when you sign in.
- Training data: Workout logs, exercise sets, weights, reps, and program enrollment details that you create within the app.
- Body metrics: Bodyweight and other measurements you choose to record.
- Preferences: Your unit preference (kg/lbs) and other app settings.
2. How we use your data
Your data is used exclusively to provide the RoburLog service:
- Displaying your workouts, progress reports, and training history.
- Calculating weight progression and generating workout suggestions.
- Syncing your data across devices linked to your account.
We do not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the app's core functionality.
3. Data storage and security
Your data is stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure. Authentication is handled by AWS Cognito using your Google account. All data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored in encrypted databases.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Your data is only accessed by the RoburLog service to provide functionality to you. There are no social features, no public profiles, and no data shared with other users.
5. Third-party services
RoburLog relies on the following third-party services to operate:
- Google Sign-In: For authentication. Google receives standard authentication data as part of the sign-in flow. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Amazon Web Services: For cloud infrastructure, data storage, and authentication services. See AWS Privacy Policy.
6. Data retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app. When you delete your account, all personal data, training history, and body metrics are permanently removed from our systems.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access all data associated with your account (visible within the app).
- Delete your account and all associated data at any time.
- Withdraw consent by discontinuing use of the app and deleting your account.
8. Children's privacy
RoburLog is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
